This Week's Quotation:
There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.
~ Albert Einstein
Everything is a Miracle
We miss out when we aren’t living our lives as if everything is a miracle. Even a momentary loss of faith can cause us to miss seeing the sweet and beautiful—the evidence of God—all around us.
Miracles are everywhere. They often show up in synchronistic ways. Miracles work through treasured family and friends who are there for us no matter what and people who pass in and out of our lives in a blink of an eye. The sun rising each morning is our daily miracle.
Most of us find that when we transcend the belief system of structured reality, miracles become more commonplace in our experience. As it’s stated in A Course in Miracles, there is no order of difficulty in miracles, and we are all entitled to give and receive them.
Miracles are seen in all the diverse forms and expressions of Love. The commitment to bring Love to every facet of our experience keeps us available to be a vehicle for Love’s Glory to work through us.
And loveliest of all, when we live our lives as if everything is a miracle, that is our experience!
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.

Yes! How could Einstein have unveiled a more perceptive relationship between energy and matter if he had taken them for granted. Both are miraculous as is the speed of light (SHAZAAM!) but only when I am open to perceive the miraculous. Go spirit! It is the miracle glue which holds the universe together and every moment, every acre of that universe, every breathe is miraculous. Thank you, Terri and Albert! Love, Tom
Thank you, Terri, for taking full advantage of the Open Windows Interfaith Soul Care blog to remind us all that everything is a miracle. And you certainly prove this out by consistently providing these miraculous blogs week after week!
Beautiful, Terri, thank you…..love as close as hands and feet. Every breath we are given, every heartbeat, sight, sound and all of creation and circumstance comes with the miracle of being alive and sharing this together as human BEINGS!
My favorite all-time quote! Also made me think of the song by Peter Mayer called “Holy Now” and the line that sticks with me is similar, “So the challenging thing becomes Not to look for miracles, But finding where there isn’t one.” Lovely post, Terri!
