This Week's Quotation:
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
~ Book of Psalms, 118:24
Celebrating Life
Let us rejoice and be glad in each new day! After all, this is our precious life to celebrate. Let us toss out the old paradigms that have long governed human lives yet keep us bound to old stories of lack, limitation, and hardship.
I don't get out of bed in the morning until I get my joy and gratitude on. It requires activating my awareness that I am transmitting consciousness out into the world, and I choose to transmit grace, generosity, and goodwill.
Our spirit wants to be lit up—living from the totality of our multidimensional being. We are eternal beings having adventures in time and space. Sing hallelujah for experiences that light you up! That transmits the message, More of this, please!
Liberation from what no longer serves us is a collaborative venture. We are all needed. Let’s each do our part to bring heaven to this world—to our lives, to our leaders, to our families, to our relationships, to our finances—to every facet of our human existence. Let heaven be the decision we make as we open our eyes to each new sunrise and rejoice in each new day!
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.

So uplifting! So beautiful Terri! Thank you for the tangible spirit of these words!
Yes! What a way to begin the day. Some people start with grumbling. Others with pressing the “Snooze”. Still others with coffee. How about with rejoicing? How about with thinking about and blessing the activities and people on today’s calendar? How about with giving thanks? Of course there’s nothing wrong with the coffee, tea, or juice too 🙂 Terri, I so appreciate your spirit. And I don’t have to wait until the new day to rejoice. I am praising our God and day the Lord has made with you right now. THANK YOU. Love, tom
The beautiful Indian summer days we’ve been having at Sunrise Ranch give me much reason to celebrate. But no matter the weather, I am with you, Terri, in this constant celebration. It is so basic to our spiritual work.
