This Week's Quotation:
Some people are old at 18 and some people are young at 90. Time is a concept that humans created.
~ Yoko Ono
Living in Eternity
Yoko is absolutely right! Time is a concept that the human mind developed to accommodate the experience of being incarnate in a material form and a material world where change occurs. But there is an invisible part of us that is changeless and eternal, a dimensionless state beyond time and even space. And that Reality is Love, the origin of the universe and of all created being.
It follows from this that the more Love flows from our dimensionless core into and through our physical form and into word and action, the more we have the experience of living in eternity. So obviously, if we want to have the experience of eternity even in our limited earthly form, just let Love flow!
And blessing is the action of Love at the material level, so bless everything! Let us cultivate the habit of blessing everything that comes to us, no matter how challenging or discordant it may be. Nothing can resist the blessing of Love, and when we consistently express our highest vision of what would bless everything and everyone that comes to us, we find ourselves in the eternal present moment, dancing the timeless dance of creation.
Speaking of dance, that is what life is meant to be: an everlasting dance to the music of the spheres. During much of my workday, I play beautiful jazz piano music on the computer stereo in my office. And once in a while, I feel compelled to rise from my desk and begin dancing around the room to the music. It is effortless and magical, an ascension into the dimensionless state of eternity. I experience the infinite richness and delight of life, its eternal nature. Please join me in the dance!
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.

Yes, Immense thanks to you, Jerry and Yoko, for this transcendent, uplifting message. Indeed, if i am eternal, why should it matter how old my body is ? May love radiate. Love and thanks always, Tom
Thank you, Jerry; I hear the music and am happy to dance with you. Grateful for your blog. We are celebrating Freedom Day and Freedom Month in South Africa, and Freedom is like age; it’s timeless. It’s not just for the ‘born-free’s’ – those born after the democratic freedom of 1994, we are all free every moment to determine what our choice will be. Blessings to you.
I have experienced Jerry’s joyful music and the atmosphere of “dancing with the Spheres” when I pick up my mail
Jerry is an inspiration
