This Week's Quotation:
What could you not accept if you but knew that everything that happens, all events, past, present, and to come, are gently planned by One whose only purpose is your good?
~ A Course in Miracles
Loving Into the Answers
While it might seem that truly horrific things happen here on Earth, it’s helpful to be reminded that a much broader and deeper reality exists. Despite all appearances, in the grand scheme of things, all is in perfect divine order. When in doubt, we might forget that we are like the mighty oak tree—deeply rooted to withstand the storms.
Some of us might feel as if we are in limbo—that ‘between’ state where the old that no longer serves has not fully passed away, and it’s not yet known what will be born in its wake. All we know is that what we choose to engage is what influences our unfolding experience here in time and space. All we know is to keep loving into the answers.
During this time of unprecedented uncertainty, I remind myself that I’m on a sacred pilgrimage. No matter what circumstances I find myself in, it’s my mission to foster gracious goodwill and radical regeneration and to maintain uncompromising faith. I see evidence that humanity as a collective is evolving in the direction of cultivating and nurturing more of the qualities of heaven here on earth.
Toward that end, Love, compassion, and goodwill are the transitional keys. I pray that we all know that the unique gifts we bring to the world are precious and needed; and that our radiant presence and the love we express are a blessing to all that is.
Each day I intend to deepen my commitment to the sacred within. Love everything about yourself and life here on Earth. Love the contrast and challenges that expand your consciousness. Love your unique beauty and disorienting pain. Love your flaws and fears. Love the never-ending mystery and frightening frontiers. Love your ability to remain open-eyed and open-hearted even in the toughest of circumstances. Just continue giving your best to love and bless it all. You are never alone.
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.
