This Week's Quotation:
You are not a drop in the ocean, you are the entire ocean in a drop.
~ Rumi
The Almighty Ocean in a Drop
Wow, to know and experience the truth that you are a uniquely individuated expression of totality that contains the entirety of all that is! How does it get better than that?
When our experience is separation, we are disempowered. We cut ourselves off from the resources and strengths that are realized in a mutually enhancing creative connection to wholeness. Our superpowers are accessed when we remember who we are beyond the egoic self. None of us walks apart from each other or the Source of all creation.
As our consciousness expands, we see more clearly that life is reflecting for us that we are the agreeable we love, the adversity we loathe, the dark we fear, and the light that brings grace. The diversity is there to trigger our remembering that we are all of it—the almighty ocean in a drop. We get to choose how to respond.
From the buffet of possibilities that life offers us, we have the choice to engage and create the beauty we cherish or the wicked we judge. Endless potentials exist for those willing to purge the ego's disempowering shenanigans that separate and judge. Nothing lost in illusion has any authority over what heaven has in mind.
How about it? Let’s all dance through life as a possibilitarian—an inspiration for others, reminding them that they, too, are the powerful ocean expressed through a uniquely individuated drop.
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.

YES!
Wow, Terri, you have expressed our oneness with all creation so beautifully. Just reading through your exquisite description has empowered me to keep moving through a period of challenge that I’ve been experiencing.
I love the word POSSIBILITARIAN!
A leader I admired frequently called together unique groups. Not just the usual committee for a particular area. She would often say, “Let’s look at all the possibilities!” I recall her being thrilled with what emerged.
The solution was sometimes suggested by a person most wouldn’t think about including in the conversation.
Out of possibility, Creation springs!
Thank you, Terri!
Thank you, Terri! So beautifully written! I truly believe that the best I can offer others is to model what you have so eloquently expressed. ‘Walk the talk’ as they say. Much love to you💕
