This Week's Quotation:
If you but knew the meaning of His Love, hope and despair would be impossible. For hope would be forever satisfied; despair of any kind unthinkable. His grace is His answer to all despair, for in it lies remembrance of His Love. His grace is yours by your acknowledgment.
~ A Course in Miracles, Lesson 168
The Flow of Grace
I find that sometimes I feel overwhelmed by indications of how much division there still is in our world. Maybe you do too. I use those moments as a sign to remember that our Creator’s Grace is always available to us.
Therefore, when I find myself lacking hope, I ask for the Grace of Faith to fill me up. When I’m feeling discouraged, I ask for the Grace of Fortitude. As soon as I remember to turn to the only true source of all that I need, what is required is given. God’s graces flow steadily and are ever available to me. And to you. To all of us.
All that is required of us is the willingness to allow our Source’s grace to flow into and through us. Whatever seemingly insurmountable issues or problems we may believe we have, God’s grace is accessible and will fill us the moment we are willing and open to receiving it. That grace opens us to a deeper intuitive sense of how best to respond in any situation.
All of humanity is awakening to what’s trying to emerge for the human race. As a result, many of us are feeling a strong calling to do whatever we can to support that potential to be born in our world—to express it, to model it, and to demonstrate it. Whatever life puts before us, may we seize it as an opportunity to enfold and evolve it in the steady flow of our Creator’s Grace.
About Open Windows
We, the authors of this blog, dedicate it to the transparent exploration of the world's sacred scripture and enlightened spiritual thought. We believe that the original inspiration of all faiths comes from a common source, named and revered in a myriad of ways. With that understanding, the innumerable symbols, beliefs, and practices of faith cease to divide. They become open windows to a common reality that inspires and unifies us. We find deeper insight and nourishment in our own faith and from the expression of faith from others.
We hope these weekly quotations and meditations speak to your heart and soul.

Thanks Terri. Yes, I open myself to God’s Grace and know how vast and eternal that Grace is. Many thanks, Terri. And I appreciate the posting of ‘About Open Windows” too. Its a terrific service and source of inspiration. Love, Tom C.
In human identity I perceive myself as separate from the Source of Grace and I pray that Grace will somehow reach down and preserve me in all my human ways. But in Divine identity I am one with the Source of Grace and seek only to bring it into all the forms that comprise my world, including my own human form.
Thank you Terri for this wise and thoughtful post. In flow and in synchronicity I too have been thinking of the concept of Grace: it seems to mean different things to different people. I love your expression here of different types of Graces, so that what we need is always available to us. My understanding of Grace is enriched and I am grateful.
Terri – this so beautiful and so heart felt – and the deepest key for me are your words – All that is required of us is the willingness to allow our Source’s grace to flow into and through us.
