We honor people of all faiths and of no religious background at all. And we honor the role that faith, belief, and religious affiliation and practice can play in a person’s life. We appreciate that people make a profound spiritual connection in many ways, sometimes with others and sometimes by themselves, or in nature.
What is most vital for us is the reality that faith, belief, and religion point to. Whatever we might call it, that reality is what connects you and me, and all people. And in the middle of all our wonderful diversity, it calls us to know our oneness.
The powerful thing about the reality that is behind all spirituality is that it is real. It is life itself. It is the presence of love within all people and all things. It is the reality that the world we live in is not just matter and energy. It is alive with Divine Presence, whatever you might want to name that presence.
When we connect with this reality, it empowers us. This is what is behind all spiritual practice and behind all religion.
So without exception, we welcome all people of goodwill who have an earnest desire to know the reality that is the source of wisdom and love within us all. All people deserve the opportunity to be part of a spiritual community filled with love, welcoming a higher wisdom.
We believe that this is the hope for humankind—not that we abandon what makes us unique. But that we find what unifies us—what makes us one. This is the universal faith we practice in our services at Sunrise Ranch.
At Sunrise Ranch, we believe that we all deserve to be spiritually nourished. We are made to run off spiritual fuel. And sometimes people are starved for it without even knowing it.
Each person’s individual spiritual connection is vital for their own spiritual nourishment. And we are built, as human beings, to be fueled by the download of higher love and divine guidance that is possible in spiritual community. This is what motivates our spiritual services at Sunrise Ranch.
We know that even if everything else goes right in a person’s experience, if there is something disturbed in their heart, it all goes wrong. Simply put, without emotional support, everything else in a person’s life is affected. It becomes hard to connect spiritually. It becomes hard to connect to other people. And the individual can even feel disconnected from themselves.
The most important source of emotional support comes from inside us. It comes from our ability to receive love from the divine source and to love ourselves. So the spiritual services at Sunrise Ranch are designed to assist us to make that emotional connection. And when that connection is made, we connect more easily with others and feel the emotional support of family, friendship, and community.
Attunement is a deep mindfulness meditation that connects us spiritually. It is a conscious practice of opening to greater levels of the power, wisdom, and love within us. And when we open like that, there are higher levels of joy and vitality that move all through our mind and heart. There is a new energy level moving through our body. It brings peace to our soul.
We call the spiritual services at Sunrise Ranch “Attunement Services” because they lead everyone participating to know a deeper Attunement with the divinity within them.
What does Sunrise Ranch believe? First of all, it is important to know that we don’t have any beliefs or dogma that we ask people to accept. What is important to us is a conscious approach to spirituality. Each of us has the ability to come to a deeper understanding of how we are made as human beings, and how we become spiritually connected and empowered. We are called to learn a practical spirituality. We call this learning spiritual intelligence.
Our life journey gives us the opportunity to gain higher levels of spiritual intelligence that lead to experiences of higher love and creative relationship with others.
Our services are an exploration of spiritual intelligence for all who attend.
People who attend the spiritual services at Sunrise Ranch find building blocks for personal empowerment. The spiritual nourishment and inspiration they share bring Attunement. So they leave this time of meditation, prayer, and worship feeling an inner alignment. They are personally empowered—strong, and ready to be of service in their world.

I am the author of the bestselling book, Becoming a Sun: Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence for a Happy, Fulfilling Life, and a book of meditations and prayers, Attunement: A Conscious Guide to Opening the Sacred Power of the Endocrine Glands.
